This guide provides product descriptions and detailed instructions for physically rack mounting a chassis, cabling to AC power sources or PDUs, cabling to network infrastructures and I/O systems, first-time power up of the chassis, setting up a management subnet, and installing and powering on server blades. RLX 610ex/600ex Hardware Management Guide This guide provides task-oriented instructions to System Administrators and other users for hardware configuration and on-going, daily board-level management of either System 610ex chassis and the SB 6400 family of server blades or System 600ex chassis and the family of ServerBlades. Management procedures are also provided for the RLX Gigabit Ethernet Switch Blade. The procedures in this guide use the remote, web-based ActivConfig and the board-mounted ActivStat management tools to set up the system hardware, to change configurations, and to monitor system health. For server blades, a remote command-line interface (CLI) is also documented. RLX System 300ex Network Switch Field Upgrade Installation Guide This guide is included with the RLX System 300ex Network Switch Option field-upgrade product shipment. It provides instructions for installing, cabling, managing, and servicing the Network Switch Option in place of the Network Connect pass-through cards for in-place RLX System 300ex chassis. Control Tower UserGuide This quide is in an html format. It provides instructions on how to use the different functions within the Control Tower Management System. To view this document, save it to your hard drive. Then open the "index.html" file. This will launch you into the online GUI. This document can be either downloaded to work within the Control Tower GUI, or as a stand-alone document. RLX prefers that you use this document in conjunction with RLX Control Tower.
